This recipe will change your life

Our freezer was running low on meat and I was running low on dinner ideas. Luckily, I found some frozen sirloin. I let it thaw in the fridge for a day and then used it in THIS RECIPE. Do it. I made some delicious red skin mashed potatoes to eat on the side of the beef. It was melt-in-your-mouth good.

*Also I substituted chicken bouillon and water for the beef broth.

  1. Mexican Rice Recipe:
    3 cups rice
    1 tbsp oil
    1/4 tsp garlic or two cloves
    1/2 tsp cumin
    1/2 cup chopped onion
    1 1/2 cups chopped tomato
    3 1/2 cups chicken broth (rice cooker cups)
    2 tsp parsley
    Throw it all in the rice cooker
    These are the actual measurements, but the onion and tomato I don't necessarily measure and oft times I use salsa in place of the tomatoes. Enjoy!
